CHoICE Ltd manages a controlled car-parking scheme to maintain access for patients and emergency services. We work in partnership with a fully accredited national specialist in ANPR car parking systems. Our system offers the flexibility to control the traffic management rules and standards, with all software designed around the specific needs of our customers.

Patient Catering Services
We cater for patients’ needs and strive to exceed their expectations; Patient Catering services are available 24/7. A sample of an inpatient menu is attached which we currently provide to Sunderland Royal Hospital. Many more dishes are available on request.

Staff and Visitors Catering Facilities
CHoICE Ltd offers a range of Catering facilities for all who visit Sunderland Royal Hospital and Sunderland Eye Infirmary. We also provide a range of Hospitality packages for meetings, conferences and social occasions
Domestic Services
CHoICE Ltd has an established a cleaning specification which is based around the principals of the National Standards of Cleanliness for the NHS. The aim is to always exceed identified national standards by continually developing the specification through listening to our customers.
We believe it is vital to engage our customers in every step of our cleaning and environmental plans and working schedules. We also work in partnership with other specialist contractors to ensure the highest and most efficient standards of service possible.
General Office
CHoICE Ltd offers a bespoke range of reception, cashiering and postal services in conjunction with our Portering and Transport team, and provides many administrative support services from our general office.
Laundry & Linen Service
Our Laundry and Linen services are provided through a partnership with a nationally recognised laundry company. We also provide services for the procurement of staff uniforms.
Portering
Our Portering team offers a variety of services and is a core part of CHoICE Facilities Services.
The Portering helpdesk ensures a rapid response to meet our customers every need. The team is fully trained to safely transfer patients, equipment and materials to all areas of the site.
Security Services
CHoICE Ltd has a dedicated SIA accredited Security Team, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They provide a range of services including CCTV surveillance, premises security, incident response and staff escorts.
Transport
CHoICE Ltd has a fleet of vehicles designed to offer a range of distribution and collection services, including mail, parcels, equipment and passenger services. A dedicated helpdesk is on hand to receive and respond to requests, offering a range of service levels from the most urgent to scheduled deliveries. Our dedicated Transport team have an in depth knowledge of the region and its road networks, with a particular insight in to the delivery and collection needs of large complex organisations such as NHS, Local authorities and beyond.
Waste Management Services
CHoICE Ltd has a dedicated and fully trained team of waste collection specialists who collect and safely dispose of all types of waste in line with current legislation. Collection and disposal of all waste, using nationally recognised segregation methods, provides not only a safe environment, but achieves maximum recycling opportunities, within the waste hierarchy.
